I weighed my heaviest in the middle of November 2020. I originally started this in September 2019. I was doing okay until March 2020, when the lockdowns started. Then I slowly gained 25 pounds back over the next 6 months. Sound familiar? Man, what a year! I’m determined to make 2020 my worst year, since it was epic and horrible for everyone. So 2021 is here, let’s do everything differently!

This Time It’s For Science

There will never be enough weight loss blogs. I’m always looking for someone like me who successfully lost weight to give me the confidence that I can do it too. I am including as much information as I can as I go. Measurements, moods, ketone levels, energy levels, sleep, exercise, water, food, drugs, vitamins. Anything I can think of. For science!

My diet is primarily what people are calling Ketogenic. I am starting off with various methods of Intermittent Fasting. No Alcohol at all. I am 60 days sober today! I quit on December 20th, 2020. I just thought I need to try harder to be healthy, and getting drunk, even just once a month is not the way. As much sleep as possible. Moderate exercise/ walking daily, and yoga.

The last time I lost a bunch of weight was in 2009. That was over ten years ago! I have gained 50 pounds since last year due to pregnancy. AKA eating chocolate and crap every day because I’m not allowed to do anything fun.

Recording as much information as possible should keep me focused and on track. It’s scary to think – putting this online means I have to stick to it. I’m so lazy. It’s bedtime.
